STORE MANAGER - MAINSTREET FLOWER MARKET

Mainstreet Flower Market in Parker, CO is seeking a highly motivated, bubbly energy, exceptionally creative and experienced candidate to join our team as a Store Manager.
(Must have experience in floral industry).

Our store is right on Mainstreet in Old Town, Parker  and attracts a high volume of in-store / walk-in traffic. We have outstanding reputation for excellence, as seen on Yelp, Facebook, and Google and as a store manager you will be directly representing our brand and requires exceptional attention to customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work directly with the owner and staff to learn everything about this dynamic business.

  • You will assist in running the day-to-day flower shop that includes retail, events, weddings and everything in between.

  • You will manage store inventory and merchandise ordering.

  • You will do outreach to businesses to gain new long-term partnerships (ex: hospitality, restaurants, hospitals, funeral homes, etc.)

  • You will be responsible for the logistical aspects of our shop to include HR, payroll, accounts receivable and our POS software.

  • You will be responsible for all in-store sales. And you will assist owners with online sales.

  • You will be responsible for projections, course correcting and staying profitable.

Requirements:

  • Some college preferred. Required experience in floral industry. Added benefit would include training or certificate in floral design and merchandising.

  • 3 to 5 years retail management experience. Must have previous experience managing all aspects of a high volume retail business, including supervision and training of 5 or more employees.

  • A passion for sales and providing outstanding customer service.

  • Ability to collaborate with a team of designers, and motivate / serve through example, training and coaching to meet sales goals.

  • Increasing sales and customer loyalty through building and sustaining relationships with local businesses.

  • Must love a fast paced work environment and have the ability to multitask and plan accordingly for peak seasons.

  • 45+ hour work week is required, including Saturdays and most holidays.

Welcome to our new website

Hooray!  We have a brand new and improved website!  Now you can see all of our arrangements in one place, you can create your own account so can come back and order from us without having to enter all of your details over again.  We now also offer the option to come pick up your arrangement at the store or request an early delivery.  One new feature is the ability to customize your greeting card to go out for delivery with your flowers.  You can upload your own photo and/or make a drawing on the card that we will deliver!  Imagine receiving flowers or a gift with a personalized card with a photo from the sender.  


Be sure to check back often.  We will be adding photos of all of our arrangements that are made for immediate pick up or delivery, so you can view what has just been made and is immediately available.  How cool is that??  You will literally be able to view our cooler in real time, as the arrangements are designed.
